Bid and project workforce readiness

Bids are won on numbers and lost on assumptions.

Scope
One bid, up to 40 role titles
Indicative timing
2–4 weeks
Progress measure
A sourced cost assumption for every role title

Who it is for: Contractor's bid or project director

Illustrative scenario

A contractor is preparing a bid for a major Saudi project and the deadline is close. Estimating has finished the engineering quantities, but workforce cost is still a percentage guess and the mobilisation curve has not been drawn. Underestimate and the margin disappears; overestimate and the bid is lost. We build the resource-cost model for one bid and up to forty role titles, the mobilisation curve, and a risk-assumption register you can defend to the client. We do not calculate engineering quantities. Our target is a documented cost assumption and source for every role title before submission.

Workflow

  1. Review bid requirements and roles

  2. Cost assumptions per title

  3. Mobilisation curve

  4. Risk register and final review

Out of scope

  • Engineering quantities
  • Materials and equipment pricing
  • Labour supply
